The Pixel Watch 3's battery life remains consistent with its predecessors. With the always-on display activated, you can expect approximately 24 hours of use or up to 36 hours when Battery Saver Mode is enabled. This reliability ensures your watch will last throughout the day and beyond.
If you use Nest doorbells and cameras, you'll be pleased to know that the Pixel Watch 3 will allow you to view Nest camera feeds directly on the watch face. This integration makes it easier to watch your home without reaching for your phone.
Google has also introduced a morning briefing feature. This summarises daily critical health and fitness metrics, including sleep data and a readiness score. The new cardio load feature measures heart exertion and contributes to the overall readiness assessment, helping you better understand your fitness levels.
Enhanced features for runners
For those who enjoy running, the Pixel Watch 3 offers some advanced features. These include custom run-building capabilities, access to saved workouts, and audio and haptic cues for pace management. The watch will also provide insights to improve running forms, such as cadence, stride, and vertical oscillation data. These features aim to help you achieve your fitness goals more efficiently.
In terms of accessories, the watch will come with an active band (available in two sizes) and a USB-C charger featuring a secure pin system similar to that of the Pixel Watch 2. This ensures a snug and reliable fit while charging.
